The Jesus Twins

Picture
Since their impromptu appearance on The Tonight Show, The Jesus Twins have emerged as one of the most controversial underground acts in the world. Featured in publications like Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, Newsday and The New Yorker, along with television appearances on NBC, CBS and countless appearances on The Howard Stern Show, The Jesus Twins have taken a rather unorthodox march forward. Their two biggest hits to date are "Feel My Ubiquity" and "God Come Down Here" which have produced a loyal following in both the United States and abroad.

Company Info

Heaven Records based in Los Angeles and Austin, was originally registered as a New York corporation March 13th of 2000. For several years, not much was done to expand the company and as such, the original nine artists Jeffrey and his twin brother, Eric, signed to their label wound up taking a back seat to the more pressing business of their group, The Jesus Twins.

Company History

As the years went by, a slow progression of unforeseen events would change all that. In March of 2007, the dog that Jeff called his "soulmate", Brian, had to be euthanized at the age of five due to lymphoma cancer. Seven months later in October of that year, Jeff's best friend and songwriting partner, Christina Maria Cerilli, died sadly by suicide. Ten months after that, on August 5th of 2008, the tragic murder of his identical twin brother, Eric Lewis Liebowitz, occurred.

It was an emotional time for Jeffrey, and he decided that he didn’t want to be the only one not in Heaven. In the fall off 2008, after months of positive dialogue with a retired major record label executive, Jeff decided to re-energize his company, Heaven Records. For Jeff, what better way to memorialize and pay tribute to the three most important souls from his past then to join them in Heaven, not literally, but as his new home of making hit records.

The Present

Heaven Records continues to expand it's influence. With every passing month, the music of The Jesus Twins, both collectively and individually, continues to permeate the culture. As The Jesus Twins fan base grows, so does the responsibilities of Heaven Records. In fact, Heaven Records recently began the process of interviewing major record labels with a goal of aligning the company with a major entertainment company for the purpose of assisting with the production and distribution of the new Jesus Twins record, Resurrection. Stay tune as we expect to see an abundance of beautiful things reveal themselves.
